Product characteristics
Excellent anti-corrosion properties. Inorganic zinc silicate primer has excellent corrosion resistance, mainly due to its high content of zinc powder. Zinc powder can not only provide a physical barrier to prevent corrosive substances from coming into direct contact with the substrate, but also act as an anode in electrochemical reactions to protect metal surfaces such as steel, thus extending its service life.
Cathodic protection. Inorganic zinc silicate primers are able to provide cathodic protection due to the large amount of zinc powder they contain. Under this protective mechanism, zinc powder will preferentially oxidize with steel to form a dense zinc salt layer, which further prevents corrosion. Good mechanical properties. Inorganic zinc silicate primer has good mechanical properties, including hardness and plasticity. It cures at normal temperature, has short drying time and strong adhesion, and can adapt to various complex construction environments.
Water resistance and chemical resistance. Inorganic zinc silicate primer has excellent water resistance and chemical resistance, making it suitable for a variety of harsh environments, such as Marine environment, chemical atmosphere and so on.
Weather resistance. Inorganic zinc silicate primer also has good weather resistance, can remain stable in a variety of harsh environments, and is not easy to fade or decompose. In the xenon arc lamp aging test, the discoloration grade of inorganic zinc silicate primer does not exceed 4, indicating that it can still maintain a good appearance when exposed to sunlight for a long time.
High temperature resistance. The heat resistance of the primer is excellent, and the paint film can withstand the high temperature of 400℃ for a long time without damage. This makes it ideal for use in environments where high temperature operations are required, such as industrial furnaces, exhaust pipes, etc.
Weldable and cutable properties. Inorganic zinc silicate primer has good weldable and cutting properties, and will not affect the workability of the metal because of coating. This is especially important for metal parts that require subsequent machining.
Chemical resistance. This primer is highly resistant to a variety of chemicals, including acids, bases, salts, etc. This makes it widely used in chemical, Marine, petroleum and other fields.

Product use
Steel structure anticorrosion. Inorganic zinc silicate primer is commonly used for corrosion protection of steel structures, especially in harsh environments, such as Marine atmosphere, industrial atmosphere, etc. It can be used as a workshop primer for the surface of steel after sandblasting or polishing, providing temporary anti-corrosion protection and extending the service life of steel.
Metallurgical equipment coating. In the coating of metallurgical equipment, inorganic zinc silicate primer is widely used because of its fast drying and weldability. It can provide temporary anti-corrosion effect in the workpiece turnover process, and does not affect the welding mechanical properties, and there are fewer defects such as pits and pores in the weld. In addition, it has good performance with various topcoats, whether it is organic or inorganic resin paint can be used together.
Harbour terminal facilities. Inorganic zinc silicate primer is suitable for the antirust primer of steel components of port terminals. Due to its excellent Marine atmospheric resistance, it can effectively resist seawater corrosion and protect dock facilities.
Chimneys, flues and other high temperature equipment. Inorganic zinc silicate primer is also suitable for chimney, flue, exhaust pipe, high temperature hot gas pipe and other metal protection of the matching primer, can withstand up to 400°C below the high temperature, and provide good heat resistance and temperature difference sudden denature-resistance.
Oil platforms and offshore wind turbines.
Anti-corrosion under insulation in container tank. Inorganic zinc silicate primer can also be used for corrosion prevention of steel components under the thermal insulation layer in the container tank, providing long-term environmental corrosion resistance.

Construction notes:
This product is like most zinc-rich paints, long-term exposure to the paint film will appear zinc salt, must be thoroughly cleaned before applying the next paint, otherwise it will affect the adhesion between layers.
The temperature of the substrate must be above 3 ° C above the dew point, and when the temperature of the substrate is below 5 ° C, the paint film is not cured and should not be constructed.
In the high temperature season construction, easy to occur dry spray, in order to avoid dry spray can be adjusted to dry spray until the diluent.
This product should be used by professional painting operators according to the product packaging or the instructions in this manual.
Steel surface:
Must thoroughly remove oil, rust, etc., to achieve the rust removal standard Sa2.5, the roughness of 30um-75um; Adopt manual rust removal method, need to reach the rust removal standard St3 level.
Concrete surface:
Concrete surface should be flat, dry, no seepage floating and water. The base that has been polluted by grease and chemicals can be washed with detergent, lye or solvent, and can also be treated by fire baking, steam blowing, etc., but it must not damage the base.
Precautions
Products should be stored in a cool and ventilated place to prevent rain, direct sunlight, avoid collision, need to isolate the fire source.
The construction site is strictly prohibited fireworks, painters should wear glasses, gloves, masks, etc., to avoid skin contact and inhalation of paint mist.
