Product characteristics

Principle of mildew protection

The mechanism by which anti-mildew agents (chemicals) can kill or inhibit microorganisms is summarized as follows:

• Denaturate proteins: Anti-mold paint works by denaturating the proteins in mold. Protein is a key component of mold growth and reproduction, and when the protein denatures, the mold's ability to grow and reproduce is severely affected.
• Interfere with its genetic mechanism: Mildew resistant coatings can also interfere with the genetic mechanism of mold, thereby inhibiting its growth and reproduction. By affecting the DNA replication and protein synthesis of mold, mildew resistant coatings can reduce mold's ability to survive.
• Interference with cell membranes: The active ingredients in mildew resistant coatings can directly damage the cell membranes of mold, causing it to lose its normal function and vitality. This destructive effect can effectively inhibit the growth and reproduction of mold.

Construction notes:

• The temperature of the substrate must be above the dew point of 3℃, when the temperature of the substrate is below 5℃, the paint film is not solidified, and it is not suitable for construction.
• In the high temperature season construction, easy to occur dry spray, in order to avoid dry spray can be adjusted to dry spray until the diluent.
• This product should be used by professional painting operators according to the product packaging or the instructions in this manual.

Concrete surface:

• The construction of anti-mildew coating and the construction of ordinary coating according to the same method of treatment, but need to pay great attention to the problem is that the base treatment requirements are different, for the anti-mildew coating before coating, be sure to remove the base of the mildew spot and its residual pollution, such as not clean when you can use 7% ~ 10% mold removal liquid scrub 1 ~ 2 times, in order to achieve the bactericidal effect.

• Due to the good sealing of 9512 anti-mold paint, the surface forms a smooth paint film. If the putty is not completely dry, there may be local yellowing in areas that are not completely dry.
